We specialise in plastic dispensing solutions, mainly plastic taps and pumps (including trigger sprayers) and fittings for IBCs (1000L tanks). However, to complement these products we also have products focussed on keeping your liquids safely inside containers e.g. drum bungs, tamper evident seals and vented closures.
3 Swans Ltd was founded by John McCracken in 1998. His daughter, Jo McCracken, joined him in 2003 and has managed 3 Swans since John’s retirement in 2011. Sadly, John passed away in 2015 but the business he founded continues to thrive.
We are still a privately owned company, located in Pukete, Hamilton, New Zealand. Hamilton is 110 km south of Auckland. It has a catchment population in excess of 1 million within a 150 km radius. Hamilton is the commercial centre of New Zealand’s key dairy farming and thoroughbred horse region, the Waikato.

Where did the name ‘3 Swans’ come from?
This is a question we get asked a lot. When John was in the process of setting up his new business he found himself gazing out the kitchen window, thinking about what to name the new company. Across his view flew three swans. John has three daughters so he took this as a sign that he should name his business ‘3 Swans Ltd’, and so he did.
We like to give back to our local community and other national charities.
